Got a question... Why isn,t dairy allowed in the Medifast Diet? Many thanks for any answer. Second question of mine... Thanks to all who posted about the solutions to loose skin... now I am wondering what brand of compression garment to look into. Kohls has something called Flexee's, I think it is...

I am going to do a websearch but was wondering if any other names, like I do wear spanx in the fall/spring/ winter many days, but am looking into a light weight, yet one that does the job...any input greatly appreciated..

Today has been a hard day....i stress ate. something I haven't done in ages a while back I posted about a daughter of mine who has an eating disorder (thinks she is fat when she weighs 112 now and is 5 6....) anyway, it's been getting to me, she is grown, has her own daughter and they live with us, it's sooo hard to see what she is doing to herself and how it effects her behavior, I have tried to gether to go into a program, she wont... today and yesterday, has been soo soo hard....my stress level has got to be a 20 on a scale of 1-10.

Anyway..... I digress.....

Thanks for any input.....

Kay..

It's motivated me to go back to wearing mine! (Being on my feet 12 hours a night is HARD on the venous and lymphatic systems)..

I'll be wearing thigh high TEDS with spanx .... while I love the high waist of the bike shorts, I don't want compression to end at my knees... very bad for my body's venous and lymphatic return systems... I want toes to upper waist...

I really like the spanks but they cost a lot. I wish they came in pink and yellow too...

Target carries a brand that is a Spanx spin-off. I'm sorry I can't remember the name, but they have most of the styles that Spanx carries including pantyhose, but less expensive...

I love these because they don't squish my boobies and they smooth out my back (including that pesky area right under the arms at the back), hold in the midsection roll, and are even long enough to give a little shaping in the lower abdomen area..

I wear sweet nothings tanks under everything and if I am really cold at night I wear one to bed. I had a spanx but it is too big, I have one of those open b00by thing like Jasmine that goes to my knees (don't love it) and I have 6 tanks that only have compression stuff in the middle. More fabric like at the b00bs and a little lace around the bottom...

I have spanx, but lately, because my size is changing and I don't want to spend that much, I go through ebates and then Nordstrom for knock off brands. They have some great shapewear for a fairly inexpensive price. I agree with Ella that toe to just below boobs is a healthier way to go and looks awesome too...

So what are all these things for? Are they just to hold things in so we look better...like a body girdle or are there other reasons to wear them like helping fix saggy skin, circulation, etc.? I wore Spanx under my dress at my daughter's wedding 3 years and 60 pounds ago. Let me tell you...shaking my rear end into that thing in the bride's room in front of 5 gorgeous, twenty something bridesmaids was quite a never to be forgotten experience. Oh, the look of horror on their faces as they worried that their future was flashing before their eyes..................

I wear the flexxees one every day (the tag says "fat free dressing" I think). I have a bajillion of them in a bajillion colors. I got some at Kohls, but I've been finding them recently for $14 at Costco. It's a camisole (sp?) one that is longer and covers my belly and upper booty. The lower body ones always roll down on metoo uncomfortable. Maybe because my lower body is bigger and my waist is small? I don't know.

They control the jiggle factor and they keep everything in place. I LOVE THEM!..
