Thank you for the responses - that article about the scale was interesting and encouraging! As far as my workouts, I run 3 days a week for 45 - 60 minutes, and the other days I do weight training and other cardio. I always do an ab-workout as well. I haven't talked to a counselor yet nor taken my measurements, but I am definitely going to give those a try as well. Thanks again!..
The counselors are great!!! I am only on day 3 and have called many times. I love the support of this board and the counselors~!..
Hey Brooke - Not wondering if the stress is causing you to increase your cortisol which causes you store any food as fat (cortisol is what kicks in w/extreme stress for fight/flight responses - physical or not).
Another idea could be that since you're a gym rat you may be building more muscle which weighs more than fat so the # on the scale might be stagnant, but as you say you feel better, clothes are better, etc.
I agree with the others - a call to a counselor might help too.
Regardless of what you decide to do - keep sticking to the plan. It does work! eat, drink, exercise - it's almost magic!.

With your exercise regime, perhaps you need more protein but a conselor is your best source for that info...
Keep piling up on plan days. If you don't cheat, you WILL lose...
Unless the OP is hungry or weak, I don't think adding a protein serving is a good idea..
However, making sure you get a FULL protein serving every time is a good idea. You can have 100 calories, but no more than 3 grams of fat and AT LEAST 7 grams of protein. Therefore, 3 ounces of turkey is way better than a stick of string cheese, for example. Or a yogurt with 12 grams of protein is way better than one with only 5 grams...
