Got a quick question: Why does it say that people under 18 shouldn's tale Medifast? Thanks for any answer or 2. 2nd question I got is.. I asked about Mio the other day because I love the stuff and have been using it fairly liberally. I've basically confirmed that it is on plan. HOWEVER, I've also noticed how I've been really fighting hunger a lot lately and the scale has not been moving much. Today I decided to have a Mio-free day and the difference in my hunger is astounding! Not hungry AT ALL.

I've just experienced it first hand. I'll be seriously restricting my Mio from here on out...

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I bump into an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could help you..

I guess it depends on what you mean when you say liberally. I use it and don't even come close to using the recommended serving amount in an entire day. The stuff is very potent. Like everything in life, it all comes down to moderation and knowing your triggers...

Directions are one squirt per 8 ounces of water. I used 1 squirt per 12 ounces....but used it for all of my water, so a total of about 80 ounces of water a day. I'm not saying it is a Mio only thing...same warning goes for diet sodas, crystal light, etc. Mio just struck me because it is so darn easy and conveninet to use frequently...

Well, when I drink water I only drink "cups" size anyways...and also your weightloss probably slowed down cuz you are CLOSE to goal..

That and you're not supposed to be putting it in every glass....

I do love it, but I am a water addict and am more likely to use it in making a vanilla shake or something. Glad you found out toat too much of a good thing, is, well, NOT necessarily a good thing...

It almost seems like that little bit of sweetness keeps my brain/tummy wanting more and more sweet things (i.e. carbs). Guess I'll have to skip the Mio from now on and only use it on days when I'm having trouble getting all my agua in...

Glad to hear that this is on plan. I was using it fairly liberally and thought, hmmm...I should search the boards to make sure this stuff is OK! Fairly new product - no aspartame, which is good for me. Love it!..

I find even the flavor infusers from Medifast make me hungrier...they're sweet and turn on my sweet tooth!! But I still use them twice a day. P.S. CanIi count that as my 'water' if it has infusers in it?..

Medifast says it still counts as a condiment and should not be used "liberally". That's the last I heard anyway...

This was my understanding also. I only use it once a day...in a vanilla shake or pudding...

Nope, me too. I find that a little bit of Stevia (for instance in my coffee or using a stevia-based water flavor thing like MiO) does not affect my appetite, but aspartame and sucralose make me VERY hungry. There is also growing research that indicates this is the case..

Even though the crunch bars have a bit of sucralose in them, they don't really up my hunger that muchgo figure...

I just started using MIO this week. I use it in the late afternoon...which used to be my snacking time. So I give myself a little MIO treat. I drink a glass of water with a splash of MIO, but I don't include this in the water quota for my day. I weigh in tomorrow, so I'll let you know if I saw a difference...
