Good question... I dunno what is the right answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I find an decent answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could assist you..
Everyone has their own journey, and I wish I would have done something about my weight when I "only" had 10lb to lose. Jealousy isn't going to get you anywhere and will only hinder your progress. I have been 100% OP since starting my journey on September 18, and I am a slow loser compared to many, but I choose to be happy with my progress. Celebrate your success so far, compare your before pictures with now and see how far you have come! You will reach your goal!.
I see you have a quote by justpraisin in your signature line. If you haven't already, read her blog "Danger." It was wonderfully written...
Actually, Medifast CAN cure this - if you stick with it, eventually you'll be there too, and have nothing to be jealous of..
I dunno if this helps, but for every one person you're jealous of, you'll have no trouble finding people here who are jealous of YOU. It's all relative. The only constant is that if you work the plan, you'll get results..
Hang in there. It's a long haul while you're doing it, but you CAN do it. You can...
You are lookin' good! And I'm somewhat jealous of you!..
You know, my perspective changed when I spoke with a very thin colleague. She and I are the same height, me 50 pounds heavier than she is. So, I was talking to her one day (about weight) and told her I wished that I could be as thin as she was and not worry about what goes in my mouth. She said, hold up...she really doesn't like being thin. She hates her ankles (too bony) and try as she might, she can't gain weight as she has ulcerative colitis and has to watch what goes in her mouth otherwise face very painful (sometimes hospitalization) consequences. I never realized this.
There is always more to the story. And, to agree with previous posts, there are some people who are probably jealous of you..
I think this is a stellar way to think of this. You have to be able to wrap your mind around a different way of thinking. It's hard I know, but I think in order to feel completely whole and satisfied, it's a necessity. And I think it'll help us with our weight loss in the long run..
Get to your goal and decide if you want to go lower. As long as you are in the healthy BMI you can get to whatever you want. That is the beauty of Medifast!..
Honestly, I think that's where my jealousy comes from! It's so frustrating that I let myself get this far gone..
And I loved that blog - thank you for that link!..
I know! And thank you for that - it does help!.
Sometimes I just want to wake up and be at goal... even though I know the process will be what helps me maintain my weight...
