Before I ask my question, I want to ask: What shampoos and conditioners smell really yummy, but NOT from a drug or grocery store?.

My main question is: So I don't really like a lot of the dinner options. The chicken is gross. I'm not a huge fan of pasta. I don't like the beef dishes. But I love the pizzas! Is there a recommendation AGAINST eating too much of one entree? I ordered about 15 pizzas and then a few other different entrees. I figure I can cook a little bit of my own chicken and lean beef or turkey meat once in a while and mix it with my veggies when I get sick of the pizza...

I hope there are new foods coming! the choices aren't terrible but I'm having trouble with dinner. I could use some more variety.

I did get some from all the three different pizzas, which added up to 15. i've added peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, and onions on the pizza and like you said, the bbq sauce with chicken also sounds delicious. i'll have to try that...

Cool, you can also get turkey pepperoni, use it as 1 of your dairy/protein..

I ordered mainly pizza, burgers, and lasagna last time. I eat the same 3 things every night. I'd rather like what I'm eating than have a gross meal...

If you listen when NS is presented on QVC, the different versions of the program QVC offers (woman over 40, under 40, men over 40, under 40, over 60 etc), the spokesperson talks about the older groups getting dishes with more protein because they are less active, the younger group getting more carbs and meals you can take "on the go" such as the bars. The spokesperson, Kat, leads us to believe that some entrees are more suitable for different age groups. And of course, there is the NS silver program which has a certain assortment best suited to seniors. So NS's marketing leads you to believe that not all entrees are the same or suitable for the same age groups. I dunno. I've done fine ignoring that and eating whatever NS meals I want toJust thought I'd bring that point up though. Some entrees do have more protein and fewer carbs than others, for what it's worth...

If you don't get sick of the same foods (I don't) you can do that. The dietitians have said it's fine to do..

I was thrilled that I was able to find 1-2 things I liked for some meals because I have weird food issues.

You can eat the same things and just vary your add-ins for a little change...

I like the pizzas too. I save up one of my protein/dairy servings and add canadian bacon to mine along with pineapple. Yummy hawaiian pizza...

I'm new. This is my fifth day. Are the flatbread pizzas really good? I find myself digging through my box picking up meals, analyzing them, afraid to make a bad selection. So far I haven't eaten anything bad. I almost picked the pizza last night, but chose the lasagna instead. I like the idea of adding canadian bacon and pineapple.

Thanks..

The pizzas are pretty good. Just don't be expecting Donatos or Pizza Hut. A lot depends upon your expectations.....

I really like the flatbread pizza. It's my favorite dinner. I sometimes put a little turkey bacon on it..

I ordered the three varieties of pizza (although I haven't tried the thick crust yet) and the mac and cheese. Those are basically my dinner options..

I really like the pizza too (as you can tell) but some folks hate it. Thankfully we all have different tastes or they'd always be out of the same things. I find that there are ways I can jazz up things that I don't particularly care for though too. Like the beef & peppers...like the meal, hate the gravy/sauce...so I just drown the sauce in veggies...ooh...its the next best thing to Chinese...okay, I've been on this for 3 months and may be slightly delusional...but.....

I think this is just a marketing ploy. My dad is on the silver, and I am on the diabetic, (not diabetic, just chose it) and we have the exact same food minus a SMALL number of items..

I say eat what you like if it keeps you on the program..

The portions are so controlled on this plan, the few carbs in some of the meals won't kill you..

I thought I was carb sensitive, and I am losing more on this than I did on Southbeach. Go figure...

The only thing is that you might get tired of them. But you do have 3 choices on the pizza. Just keep adding veggies to them. Someone here used low sugar bbq sauce and put shredded white meat chicken on hers..

So enjoy!.

There are rumors that some new food is coming out in Jan/Feb? Keep your fingers crossed..
