I got a quick question: What pharmacies or Vitamin Shoppes sell nonprescription contact lenses? Can you please tell me the n?.

I also got another question: Hi, I just ordered my food yesterday and am waiting for it to arrive. I was just wondering if people get sick of the NS food after a few months. Also, how do you deal with eating in restaurants? Thanks for any help you can give me!.

Your question was: What pharmacies or Vitamin Shoppes sell nonprescription contact lenses? Can you please tell me the n?.

I have been on NS for 14 months. I do, every once in a while, get tired of the food. So I eat other things like Boca burgers with rye bread, fat free pizza with turkey pepperoni, healthy choice dinners or Gorton fish. There are a lot of NS choices to make. I just tell my self ''I want to lose, I will not cheat'' so it makes it a lot easier for me. Sometimes I have very small servings of regular food..

At a restaurant I follow the guidelines of NS. Mainly no breaded or fried foods..

Good luck...

I started in July and I love the food. But, I will admit that I started to get tired of it around Thanksgiving. So, I've had some minor cheat days since then but for the most part, I am still on NS about 90-95% of the time.

This time of year is hard. I mean I'm not going crazy with the sweets and holiday goodies but, I am craving some warm comfort foods.

But losing another 50 lbs is more important to me than giving up. So, I am doing the best I can to be a good girl.

I wish you (and everyone else here) much success on the program and a Happy & Healthy Holiday!!!..

Going out to eat I get real picky. Everything has to be grilled or fresh. No cheese or cream. Nothing white(rice or bread). I LOVE mexican food so I eat a couple of chips then I tell the waiter to take it away. I tell them how I want it cooked and ask for subs.

It has taken me a while to realize, going out is for the chance to be with that person, to not have to cook, to relax, it's not about the food. Watch out even Chili's guitless menu comes in at 500 calories. Tell them to leave the rice off, or bring you your meal and a to go box at the same time and put 1/3 or 1/2 for lunch the next day...

I have not gotten sick of the food. Once you are on the program you find lots of tips & tricks to make the foods you like taste great. Spend lots of time on the boards, in the 'tips forum' 'recipe forum' & 'meal planning forum'. Good luck to you..

I've been on NS since May and only eat a few dinners as it is (5-6) and I'm not tired of it. But I'm the kind of person that can eat the same thing every day and it doesn't bother me. There's no way I could get tired of pancakes for breakfast or chocolate for dessert!.

I do order some of the foods that you can do a lot with like the burgers. There are about 100 things you can do with the burgers. Same thing with the cheesy potatoes for lunch. You can vary your protein with the cheesy potatoes every day.

I do occasionally eat a dinner on my own and that's usually if I make something for my family that's NS friendly, like broiled chicken. Then I have the NS potatoes for dinner and have that with the chicken...

Been on the program since 9/1. there's enough choice that I dont get too tired of it (except maybe the lunches, not alot I like or are really convenient to bring to work). As for eating out, I have done much less of it since NS (which helps offset the cost of NS, since eating out can get real expensive real fast). On the few occasions I did eat out, I was more selective on where to go and what to eat as well as when to stop eating (dont have to eat all they serve on your plate). the guide in the monthly planner is a good resource to help with those choices...

I always have cereal for breakfast, and with several different types of NS cereals I still have plenty of variety..

In terms of the lunches, I'm having MORE variety than before NS. I used to bring a Lean Cuisine panini to work, and there are only 3-4 of them that I like. With NS there are probably 10+ different lunches I enjoy..

As for the dinners, it's not that I get sick of the NS ones, it's that I'm craving more "normal" dinners. So every now and then I'll make a regular dinner and just have a small portion of it.

I only have 5 pounds left to goal, so I have to be careful to watch my calories as this is the last STUBBORN weight!..

Welcome aboard! Here are 3 excellent resources (Jazzman's FAQ, Ellen's tips for newbies and the transcripts of the e-classes with the NutriSystem head dietitian, Mary Gregg). Reading those first is what got me started off right...and over 98 pounds later, I still recommend them highly!.

Link to The-Jazzman's FAQ.

Link to Ellen's Information for New Members.

Link to archives of NutriSystem e-classes.

And the following is priceless: Graylady (Lynn), a very successful NutriSystem member, has taken the time and energy to collect tons of information about how to make the foods taste the way YOU like them:.

Link to Graylady's Recipe Collection.

But, I'll tell you this: I would have eaten the cardboard boxes the food came in to get the results I've gotten (and this "after" picture was 15 pounds heavier than I am now!):..

Welcome to the NS Family!.

I've been doing this for awhile now (and although I had a lapse over the summer I didn't really gain weight I just stopped losing) I can say it isn't (and wasn't) that I get tired of the food - I like to "play" with my food. So even if I order the same things all the time - it's always different..

Breakfast - pancakes make fantastic muffins - in different flavors since I use baby food for my fruit and there are lots of different flavors. I make a baked oatmeal that is great. Even the dreaded blueberry muffins or cranberry orange pastries make a fantastic bread pudding..

There are so many ways you can "mix things up" that getting bored with the food isn't an option - unless you want to be bored with it!..

I've been eating NS foods since September 2005, and I can honestly say that I don't get tired of the dinners or desserts. I've never been a big fan of the lunches, although I do like the soups in a can. Breakfasts I can take or leave...TJ's quick eggs (egg beaters) are much better than NS eggs, and I also use high protein cereal bars from DietDirect.com.

There's enough of a variety to please everyone, and as others mentioned, there are lots of things to do with the meals to "make them different" if you do tire of them...

I don't eat the food that much anymore. Mainly because of the cost but I do love the cheesy mashed potatos and the fudge bar..

Thanks for all the input! I am looking forward to receiving my food and seeing what I like and don't like!..

Once again I am amazed at the creativity of NS users. Why the baby food? Just curious...

Why baby food? It comes in the right "size" for a serving and gives me great variety - I think I'd get tired of applesauce in my muffins........and I don't have to peel fruit every morning. And when it's on sale - it's a whole lot cheaper. I can have blueberries every day if I want without having to pay the "high" prices for single servings some times of the year, since nothing is every "out of season".

Besides what diet lets you have muffins every day AND lose weight? When I say I had a carrot cake muffin for breakfast I get those oohs and ahhs and then a look like - woman are you crazy?? But when I explain how low in calories and high in protein ....... and all perfectly legal well... then it's "can I have the recipe"..

I have been on it since mid july and am not sick of the food yet. Remember you can change your meal plan every month so you can get lots of variety if you choose..

I have certain meals I order everytime and others I change about...
