I went to Aldis for the first time in years, and I saw a bunch of Fit and Active brand food. I was in my sweaty gym clothes and just running in to get oranges, so I didn't have the time to stand around analyzing the stats..

Has anyone personally found items from this brand that had the right stats? Are there any items that you have enjoyed mixing in with your Nutrisystem foods? Or are they just not right to add to the program?..

Your question was: What item do you enjoy mixing in with Nutrisystem food?.

I love their string cheese and their Cherries Jubilee yogurt.

Fit N Active Plain Non-Fat yogurt is 120 cals, 0 fat, 10 protein (fits in).

You could also put part of your fruit serving in to give it some flavor.

Cherries Jubilee yogurt is 100 cals, 0 fat, 6 protein..

You could also add a little bit of protein powder to up the proteins to at least 7.

1 strip of Fit N active string cheese fits perfect..

60 cals, 2.5 g. fat and 8 protein..

To be honest, the only product I ever recall seeing of theirs was the yogurt & the one's I saw didn't fit the stats. Sorry.....

I get the string cheese and their version of egg beaters. Much cheaper than egg beaters. I have gotten their fudge bars. They are like the WW ones. Not sure they fit but have used them berfore..

I got some turkey burgers there that were fit and active but they do not seem to have them now. The were a 140 calories...

Actually the fudge bar is the same stats as the NS. I just looked it up and very little difference. I think the ice cream sandwiches they have are a good sub also..

I have looked at some of their items but did not find any to be a good match for Nutrisystem stats. The yogurts are too low in protein as I recall..

Some of the yogurts are 110-120 calories and 9-10 grams protein for 8 oz. Since you are allowed to eat 120 cals. of yogurt 1 time a day they do work. (I think some are too high at 140 cals) The smaller 6 oz. size are mostly only 6 grams protein so a little short. I used to eat these before I discovered greek yogurts. I only eat yogurt once a day so either one would work for me since my other 2 protein servings are lean protein ie chicken...

Thanks guys..

I suppose from the lack of people jumping in to list their favorite items from this company, that this is not an acceptable brand. Oh well, I just like to keep an eye out in case I need some variety...

Actually, I was just looking at the stats of some of their products. It looks like their stuffed sandwiches would fit as a dinner entree...
