Hi everyone, quick 1st question: What is the special oil they prescribe for people with IBS that can be bought at the local Vitamin S?.

My 2nd question is: I'm very interested in what you all think of the Wedged Potatoes with Sliced Beef Steak dinner, and why you like or dislike it. I tried it about three times on Nourish and just didn't like it. I really tried to because I'd read good things about it when they introduced it last winter. I think I pinned it down to the sauce it was in just being too sour. I ordered it once it a while, deciding to give it another try, but then still didn't like it (I liked the potatoes though).

I decided to try it once more and got the Advanced version, which is much better I think. The sauce doesn't taste nearly as sour and there were pretty good and hefty slices of beef in it. I do like it now and would order it again.

So, why or why not didn't you like it on Nourish, and do you also see any difference in the Advanced (those of you who have tasted the Advanced version). Or maybe there wasn't any change in it and it's just me getting to like it better than I did the past times I've ordered it. Opinions on it, please, and be as detailed in your reasons liking it or not liking it as possible. I'm really curious what you do or don't like about it...

I didn't like it, but I don't remember now why I didn't like it, but this would have been back in June. Something tells me because it wasn't like the version I remember from back in 1998 or 1999..

Don't like mushrooms, yuck. I also did not like the texture of the meat, and wasn't crazy about the sauce. I actually really wanted to like this dinner, too! I love potatoes...

That would do it for me... no fungus among us over here..

I love it, it's one of my favorites. I guess I'm weird because I like all the beef entrees..

I'm not sure I noticed a difference though between the old one and the new. I had it last night and I was so hungry I didn't really pay attention...

I love it. It's not my favourite but I do usually order one or two a month. I like having potato wedges once and awhile. At first I found it had too much sauce but anymore that doesn't bother me. never found it sour either..

I haven't had the advanced version so I can't compare it...

Haven't had the Advanced one, but the "old" one was just........um, gross! The sauce, the texture of the meat and the potatoes.........just didn't like any of it. Tried it once, threw it out, got something else out and eBayed the rest I had..

Beef roast and potatoes are too easy to make on my own. I only order those things I can't duplicate. Like the BURGERS!! YUMMY!!..

I just started NS and happened to have the wedged potatoes with beef tonight. It didn't taste the way I thought it would. It was good, but kind of sweet and sour or oriental? I would have it again, but I think they should have said it was sort of beef with an oriental flair...

I like the taste, but I too don't like mushrooms. I get tired of picking them out of the dinner..

I still have a couple that I may eat one of these days..

I prefer the green pepper steak and rice (no mushrooms). The taste is my favorite...

This is one of my favorites... not sure why other than I like it!!!..

I like it, but I always heat it up on the stove. That seems to help, plus a little bit of white pepper too...

Not one of my favorites. To me it was more like beef stew. I had higher expectations of it being more like regular steak and wedges of potato with.

Skins on them or something. Right up there with the NS pot roasts but I don't expect them to get their food from the chef's on foodnetwork. lol..

Everyone has different tastes in food, just like the real world of cooking. M..

Never tried nourishI think the advanced it's just okay. I made the mistake of making my kids a similar dish on the first night I tried itand frankly I'm a much better cook than NS!.

K.....

You mean those think slices that are wobbly are mushrooms? I thought it was beef fat or something..

I like the dish, but I cook all my dishes (container removed) in the toaster oven. It dries out the abundance of sauce, and puts a nice crisp on the potatos and beef...
