I have absolutely no imagination in the kitchen. I have friends that put a little of this and some of that ... and it's a tasteworthy masterpiece. Me? I doubt the neighbor's dog would be interested.

Anyway ... I did manage one that even my husband says isn't bad and he hates squash!.

Yellow squash.

Zucchini.

Green onion.

Diced garlic.

Rosemary/Garlic seasoning that I found at Sam's.

Pam spray or use oil as your fat serving for the day.

I cube the squash and zucchini, finely chop the onion, add garlic and my rosemary/garlic seasoning to taste "stir fry" all until it is cooked down but still somewhat firm..

The Rosemary/Garlic seasoning makes them taste like they are roasted veggies. Yum and it's quick/easy..

************.

I have seen somewhere on this board a recipe for "chips" and have spent the past hour and a half searching for at least one recipe. Can't find any at all even with my searches because there's a ton of recipes out there! Too bad I can't remember them all..

Would someone please be so kind as to cut/paste or point me in the right direction to find the recipe for the Medifast chips?.

Thanks!..

Your question was: What is the recipe for Medifast chips?.

Thanks I'll try this soon!.

I also tried the radish recipe that I saw somewhere in the threads. I think radishes are absolutely horrible but this recipe was delicious! My DH who hates most vegetables said he would even eat them again! Another winner for my recipe box. (-:..

DITTO! I love the radish recipe, and DH does too. Here's another winner in our house...mashed cauliflower (faux mashed potatoes). Hubby prefers them over real mashed potatoes, now!..

You can also take turnips, peel them, slice them thin and bake until crisp around the edges. I spray them on top with butter flavored Pam before cooking..

I hate turnips, and love these !!..

Ohh La La! Mashed Cauliflower! I used to order that at Ruby Tuesdays all the time! I love theirs. Would you mind sharing your Medifast friendly version? I would be most appreciative!..

Someone recently posted this recipe for Apple-less Apple Crisp made with zucchini. I haven't tried it, but plan to soon..

Apple-less Apple Crisp.

2 cups raw zucchini slices [cut to resemble apples].

3 tbsp lemon juice.

1/4 cup Splenda.

1/4 tsp cinnamon.

1/8 tsp nutmeg.

1 Medifast Cinnimon Pretzel Sticks.

1 tbsp ICBINB spray.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Peel zucchini & slice lengthwise. Core/seed the halves then cut into 1/4 inch slices (or however thick you like in order to look like apple slices.) Put slices in sauce pan with 3 tbsp lemon juice. Bring to boil & cover & cook for 5-6 minutes, until tender. Drain thoroughly. Place the slices back into the pan & add the Splenda, cinnamon, & nutmeg.

Pulverize Pretzel Sticks in the magic bullet. Mix with 1 tbsp ICBINB spray. Press into the bottom of a small oven safe dish. Bake in oven approx 5 minutes..

Spread 'apples' over base and bake an additional 20 minutes or until apples are cooked thoroughly..

3 green servings of cooked zucchini (approx 1.5 cups cooked).

1-2 condiments (juice is drained so don't know how much is retained).

1 fat.

1 Medifast meal..

Wow, this sounds amazing and with Fall almost upon us, I was thinking I'm going to miss my apple crisp. Thanks so much...

Your squash recipe sounds great...very similar to a recipe I make. It is a great standby, and you can make up a LOT and have it for a few nights...just change up the seasonings or sautee it with chicken or shrimp with some broth for a whole new meal!!.

The chip recipe was a new experiment I finally got brave enough to make the other night. LOVED it!! I copied this directly from another thread and made a couple edits.....

1 pkt soup.

2-4 TBSP water.

Cream soups work best, but if using chicken noodle (or some other), you can blend the dry ingredients into a fine powder and make the chips too. Mix together until you get a thick batter or paste. Spread onto nonstick parchment paper (or a plate sprayed liberally with Pam) and microwave for 1 to 1.5 minutes. Flip it over, and keep cooking in 20 second increments until it's done to your liking-less for chewier and more for crunchier. Careful, it burns rather quickly so check it often..

Hope you enjoy!..
