So yesterday I went to the derm office and after a very long conversation he talked me into starting on Murad Resurgence. I hope I will not regret the decision. My acne is bad but has not always been that way. I would say just in the last 3-4 months I have started getting the deep cystic acne. I have read a lot of the posts and I already have dry skin for the most part so I am kind of nervous about that, however my face is very sensitive to creams and makeups and such. What are your guys' suggestions on the best cream to use for my face.

Any helpful tips would be appreciated!..

Your question was: What cream to use on face during Murad Resurgence?.

I hope you like drinking water. If not, too bad. Seriously, you'll need to drink a lot of water. Your body will crave it and drinking lots of it helps with the dry skin, eyes, and lips...

Haha yep! Siava made a good point totally forgot about that. You tend to get very prone to dehydration during Murad Resurgence...

Thanks! I drink lots of water anyway. I have been known to be hospitalized in the past for dehydration. But I will step it up a notch regardless... any suggestions on makeup? Currently I use neutrogena skin clearing which has the salicylic acid and I am thinking if my skin is dry that won't be a good idea. In the past I have used everything over the counter as well as bare minerals and sheer cover. Not wearing makeup isn't an option, most people that know me have never seen me without makeup.

The sheer cover that I used to use I liked a lot it is just extremely expensive and heavy on the face. It is not something that I will rule out entirely though...

The Neutrogena will definitely dry you out as time goes on. Oh gosh, you should check out the cosmetics portion of the forum. You'll find lots of opinions regarding make-up and Murad Resurgence/dryness over there. Best wishes to you for your course...

My skin wasn't really dry and I didn't have much pimples while on Murad Resurgence so I cannot suggest. But if your skin is really dry, probably stay away from powder as that will make it more obvious. I have heard a lot of great reviews about Revlon colorstay liquid foundation and some Murad Resurgence users do use it with great results...
