Before I ask my question, I want to ask: What are the best diet pills to buy from a Vitamin Shoppe?.

My main question is: Before I try making the pancakes, I want to know if I should eat them plain or is there something I can put on them such as preserves?.

Also, I notice a lot of people talking about counting their calories... is this important for me to do? I thought if I follow the plan exactly that there was no need to count calories.. am I missing something?..

As far as the pancakes go I was fine with them as they were with a little bit of syrup but the other day I added in 3/4 cup blueberries and made 1 big pancake. I found it to be delicious.

I like to use sugar free applesauce or yogurt for my topping. Others use the fatfree/sugar free syrups.

I use my fruit serving to top my waffles (made out of the pancake mix and water instead of the milk). I take 3/4c frozen blueberries and a little splenda to sweeten. Nuke until warm and bubbly. Then I add 2T SF Mrs Buttersworth syrup (free food)...to die for!..

And, NO, you do not have to count calories. I never have. I just follow the NS guidelines for add-ins, fill in the dots in my planner and when the dots are filled in, I am done eating for the day...

Thats exactly how I make them...and they are to die for! Its filling.

Do you have to count the milk you add to the pancakes as part of your protein??..

The milk is considered part of the pancake meal - like the cereal. Good luck !..

I have made them plain and with bananas or blueberries another time. I find it a great way to get my fruit and also it dresses up pretty dry pancakes. They aren't the worst food out there... but noticeably improved with the fruit sweetness added...

I added some frozen blueberries to them today and they were ok but I think to be really happy with them I will need to do more to them..

I made my first giant pancake today. A pich of cinnamon and about 2 tbsp SF log cabin syrup..I was very surprised how yummy and filling it was!..

Yes, I use the SF Smuckers syrup - you get about 1/4 cup I believe - which is definitely enough!! They are delicious...

I made blueberry pancakes this morning. I split the 3/4 cup of frozen blueberries in half. Half went in the batter with some cinnamon, and the other half I nuked with a packet of sweetener. I poured that over the pancakes instead of syrup...
