I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I got an useful answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could answer your Medifast question..
No loss "days"???? Plenty! Think about it... you lost 15 lbs in ONE WEEK. That is a ton of weight. There will be times when your body is adjusting to accommodate the weight loss and other times when it will seem to just jump off of you..
Men do tend to lose faster than women on average, but the less you have to lose, in general, the more slowly you will lose it..
If you get light headed, try replacing electrolytes with either some bouillon or pickles. Remember, you're advised to cut back a bit on your exercise the first couple of weeks while your body adjusts to the new calorie levels..
Generally you can find something at just about any restaurant if you are willing to be specific when you order.... look at the menu as ingredients.... and make sure they leave off the ones that are off plan. If you can get the menu ahead of time (most decent sized restaurants have a web presence of some sort) you can figure it out before the pressure of the waiter and the others at the table makes you feel like you need to "rush" and maybe not get it quite right for you..
Good luck... you're doing great!..
You have had a great loss so far. Average weight loss on Medifast is 2-5 pounds a week. I don't think they make a different statement on this for men, although, men generally lose faster..
The lightheadedness can be dealt with by having the dill pickle snack or cup of bouillion, to replace your salts/electroytes..
I always did fine at just about any restaurant, just a matter of knowing and keeping to the proper choices. Anyplace with a healthy salad bar and the option for your serving of protein would work for you..
My advise, move on to just weekly weighing. You need to look at the overall picture, and not the day to day. There can be too much variance there, due to the body's fluids and the fluctuations caused by them..
You are doing a fantastic job. Just stay on plan, drink all that water, and relax. Your body knows when it is right to drop the weight...
Just wanted to add that you should check out the Guys Using Medifast forum. They may be able to add some information directly from a guy's perspective that may be helpful..
Lightheadedness is normal. It's plagued me from the beginning. Too much activity brings it on sometimes..
Like the others stated 2-5 lbs per week- which is an average. So even if you have a couple weeks of no loss you could still make the average..
Just stick to protein and veggies for the eating out part. I haven't found a place yet that I couldn't at least eat something..
Keep up the good work!..
