Quick question: Type 2 Diabetes, Medifast D or Low Carb Diet ? Thanks for any answer. 2nd question I got is.. I just wanted to say thanks for the support and suggestions I received on this board. Everyone is very helpful..

However, as this diet has not agreed with my body since day 1 (and I am still sitting on the toilet and missed two days of work), I was on day 9 when I finally decided that I am not willing to put my body through this any longer..

I have no soy allergy, I don't eat the bars, I followed the program to the letter. I lost only 3 pounds in spite of having chronic diarrhea for 9 days. This program seems to be like a rejected organ to my body..

I've chosen to return to eating clean, like I used to do and lost 50lbs. I will consider Medifast as a good cleansing prior to starting my healthy lifestyle over again..

Good luck to everyone and I wish you all continued success with MF..

I know you have probably already thought of this, but can you leave out the bars and the pretzels (pretzles have stevia)? The bars cause gastro stuff in many people (you may be more sensitive to it) and the stevia in the pretzels makes a few friends of mine have stomach serious stomach matters. I hope you get a relief from your symptoms soon! Write me if I can help! I almost had to get off medifast several times, due to serious side effects! I kept tweaking and thank goodness I can tolerate a few of the foods! If you cant be on medifast I know you will find another great plan and will lose!!!! You can still talk to us too!..

My husband has an intolerance for sucralose (splenda) so he couldn't touch my Medifast food even if he wanted to. Maybe you have something similar? Good luck to you on your journey...
