Hi everyone, quick 1st question: Top 10 best selling Vitamin Shoppes in philippines?.

My 2nd question is: Hello everyone, i'm one of the few males on here probably and I could use some imput. I started NS on Oct 29th, so it has been alittle over a month now. I lost 8 lbs the first week and 6 lbs the second. The third week I lost 5 lbs and the fourth only 3 lbs. I do 60 min of cardio three times a week on a elipticle. I realize that alot of the weight loss in the first two weeks is water, but i'm almost to the point of eating less! I set a goal, start weight 235, by Jan 1st, 199 and my final weight i'm striving for is 180, which I haven't seen in 18 years! Any thoughts or suggestions?.

1-2 pounds per week should be your goal for weight loss. The first few weeks normally are bigger losses, but it slows down after that when you get into the nitty gritty weight, so to speak. Do not eat less than the recommended amount of food - if you are concerned, call a counselor and have them go over what you eat each day..

You are doing just fine!.

Don't skip food, it may make it harder to lose. Everyone's weight loss does slow down as the have less body fat to lose. Stick with it and you'll do great!..

Hi folks,.

Just thought I would chime in here. Don't eat less. Eat everything you're supposed to and drink, drink, drink the water. Also, don't forget, muscle weighs more than fat. You may be losing body fat but you are building muscle by exercising 60 minutes 3 times a week. A two pound loss a week is best because it gives your body time to adjust to the new weight and will likely stay off.

Also, if you eat less than you should you may lose weight but it might be taking the weight from your vital organs and not from your fat stores(not a good thing). Just remember, it took you years to gain the weight and it will take time to lose it. Although you may not be seeing the loss of pounds on the scale, measure yourself. You'll be surprised at the inches you lose while your weight is seemingly standing still. Eating too little makes your body go into starvation mode and slows your metabolism down.

Being hungry is not synonomous with weight loss..

You're blessed that you lost so much so fast. Yes, men usually lose faster, but the goal in NS is to lose in as healthy a way as possible while learning how to maintain that loss. My hubby and I started together, and he's lost just under half a pound per week more than I have over these past 12 weeks..

Listen to the above advice, it's all good. And don't let the slow down discourage you; sometimes our bodies need a little readjust time..

Anybody ever gain weight once they started working out, even though you are sticking to the program? Started NS about 3 months ago, lost 18 lbs, but lately very slow or no loss...

Dont' eat less and do drink all the water recommended. When I hit a plateau I switched when I ate dinner and lunch. Try eating the entire dinner meal at lunch time and the entire lunch meal at dinner time. It worked for me! I started loosing again and didn't stop until I was 10 pounds lighter than my goal. Nutrisystem will work if you stick to it...

First few weeks.. real fast.

After that be happy with 1 or 2 lbs a week.

Eventually you will hit a several week period with little or no loss..but by then you will be so used to NS you won't care.. that much.. even with little or no movement of the scale your pant size will go down.. so check that before getting discouraged..

When you get to the point of watching fast food advertisements on TV and saying "How can anybody eat that much!" your home free...
