I got a quick question: There was a guy in front of me at a Vitamin Shoppe today trying to buy a hudred dollars worth of col?.

I also got another question: When are we permitted to add more food? What food can be added?.

It just occurred to me that we can add out own creations and then just choose it for a meal. But other than that, could someone explain it to me? Thanx a lot...

Your question was: There was a guy in front of me at a Vitamin Shoppe today trying to buy a hudred dollars worth of col?.

I did. That's where the Add more food to breakfast, lunch, etc is..

I must be really dense. I just don't understand how to use it...

I've never used that program, but I just took a peek...I think that is for items that are not listed...like if your yogurt doesn't fit their stats, etc...

Like Sharon, I have never used that function. I thought you were asking the more generic question of what food you add to each meal OTHER than the NutriSystem entree...

Ellexxx, Sharon is right. The add more foods button is to add an item that isn't on the canned list or to add something extra you ate, like an extra fat at dinner..

Hope that helped, Good luck!..

The way I use it is, like this morning..

I used my pancake mix to make mini muffins instead. I used 1/4 cup of egg beaters in the mix, so I added that, using that function. And I edited the protein section to reflect half the amount of milk listed as default for a serving. So my protein serving was dead on and my foods eaten were accurate..

When I indulge with a glass of wine, I will use that function to add a glass of wine (use the 3rd section, Search Other Foods), so I can track all my calories and food/drink intake...

That's exactly what I do as well. For example, today I treated myself (no I didn't cheat, I've been on for awhile and I know what adds up to a meal serving) to sushi for lunch. I just go to the extra food and add my sushi in there (instead of tracking it as an NS meal + protein serving). I also had cabbage but that fit in as my salad serving...

Yup!! I know exactly what you are doing. I do the same thing. Yum! Sushi! Such an NS friendly lunch/dinner!..

Congrats on your loss sweetie!! I saw you also started at a size 14 and are losing, losing, losing size, like me!! Oh, it feels so good, doesn't it??!!!..

Tee hee, I'm so excited, I'm almost there..

I'm going to stay on it, though, cause I think I can lose more. I'm a big boned girl and when I was married in '89 I weighed 118 and did not look anorexic at all and I am 5'7". So, I'm sticking to it, just to see where it goes.

I love it. It's easy, tasty and I love my new friends...
