Hey there!!!.

Hubby made da bomb chicken tonight! It's my favorite L & G so far!!!!.

Here it is:.

Take two 8oz boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Marinate in 1/2 cup of light soy sauce for approx 1 hour. Remove from marinade, place on cutting board and pat dry with paper towel..

Sprinkle moderiately with raw seasame seeds, then grill on the BBQ for 5 mins on each side, high temp..

Green Chile Relish:.

Coat a small skillet with butter flavored Pam. Then add 2 cloves chopped garlic, a 4oz can Mango brand (or your favorite brand) of diced green chiles, 2 tablespoons of your favorite red salsa, and 2 tablespoons of light teriyaki sauce. Simmer, until liquids evaporate..

Spoon the green chile relish over the chicken and enjoy a culinary masterpiece!!!!.

The recepie serves two!..

We are permitted low sodium soy sauce but we can't have sesame seeds on plan. Looks like a good recipe to save for transition though!..

Whoops! I didn't know that you couldn't have the seasame seeds! But I've had them since I started the diet. I guess you don't have to have them!.

And hubby uses the light soy sauce, but I'm going to switch that with the low sodium one...I need to check the label-I wonder if they're the same thing!.

Made this dish tonight with no sesame seeds, as I didn't have any and thought that maybe they weren't on plan anyways, and as I see that was pointed out by snowmoon..

But, oh! It was so DELISH!!!!.

Thanx, tk421beth! I gotta try this, too. My family loves chicken anyway, and I was running out of ideas of how to change it up! Anything cooked on the grill is something I'm willing to try. I LOVE cooking on the grill! I'm also half Japanese, so I have plenty of low-sodium soy sauce in the kitchen! LOL Will let you know how it was!.

Actually, this is what was posted on the message board by the nutritionist regarding sesame sees:.

To asian-style cucumber recipe Medifast recommends limiting your fresh ginger to 1 tsp. sesame seeds should be limiting to 1-2 tsp. Tsp is teaspoon and Tbsp is tablespoon..

Oh my gosh!!! I made it for dinner last night, and It is a keeper!!!! My husband who is not on Medifast loved it too! Thank you so much for sharing. I will have to have this about once a week I think. It is yummy!!!..

Very cool.....my husband likes to cook, too! He just started Medifast with me...finishes his first week tomorrow (Monday morning). I am sure we will both be praising your hubby for such an amazing sounding dish!.

Question, can I buy raw sesame seeds at the grocery store?..
