Hi...I've been on Medifast for a week and have lost 7lbs and am sooo excited about. Nothing else has worked for me. Anyways, I just had my L/G and wanted to share. I used one 4oz package of shirataki noodles which counts as your green(one 4oz package gives you 1 cup of noodles which is approved on this plan). Here's the recipe for the veggie saute'/sauce:.

1/2 small tomato chopped.

1 slice of yellow onion chopped.

3 fresh mushrooms chopped.

2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Splash of lemon juice.

A few shakes of balsalmic vinager.

Some dry talian seasoning.

A coulpe of shakes of garlic powder(I didn't have any fresh).

In a skillet let oil, lemon and vinager heat up at med temp for a couple of minutes, chop veggies and throw right into the pan. Continue cooking at med temp for about a minute then reduce to low while water boils for the noodles. Let noodles cook for about 3 minutes in boiling water. Add a little more vinager to the saute' right before serving for an extra kick. Toss together and ENJOY!.

I had this with 1 morning star griller with a little balsalmic on it instead of ketchup. Total carbs 11..

Just wanted to share. Thanks.

P.s. be sure to rinse noodles thoruoghly before boiling(eliminates smell)...

Thanks! I'm always looking for Shirataki recipes... Try using olive oil Pam to saute the veggies. Tastes great and it cuts out that little bit of added fat (I know, I'm paranoid). I'm curious, though... You boiled your noodles before adding to the pans, right?..

Yes, rinsed them really well and then boiled them for about three minutes. I love these noodles because they really take the edge off of hunger!.

I don't know how far you've been through the boards, but Gia has an Italian pasta bake recipe you might really be interested in. If you cut back the cheese a little bit, you can pair it with some chicken tenderloins and have a fabulously decadent chicken parmagiana.....

Click on the "Community Home" tab (to the left of the Discussion Boards tab). On the right-hand side of the page, there's a place to make your ticker. You choose from a drop down lbs or kgs, then choose what you're tracking. Fill out the information regarding your weight, then click the button. It'll walk you through the rest of the steps.....
