I've been on Medifast since April 19th and until yesterday, had YET to try the oatmeal! I finally broke down and made a blueberry oatmeal packet....

And....

YUM!!!!!!!!.

It was so filling and tasty and I loved the little berries in it!.

*heaven!*.

Just goes to show that we all have different tastes and that your tastebuds DEFINITELY change while on MF!.

LOVE the oatmeal for how it makes me feel. Seems to stick with me. Not sure what it is that people don't like. The texture is what I've heard. I love the texture. I like it as oatmeal and really like it as an oatmeal muffin..not one of the muffins with all the stuff added..just a muffin...

At first I totally hated the oatmeal but then learned how to make a muffin out of it. Since then I've been sold on it. I haven't gotten up the courage to try it just as it is yet, though...

Roxy, it is on the box of Blueberry muffins. It's the package of oatmeal, 1/8th tsp of baking powder (they also say cinnamon and splenda and vanilla..I don't do any of that). Mix with 1/3-1/2 cup water. Put in a pam sprayed brownie tray (even a used one is okay) or a custard cup or muffin tin and bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes...

I do "muffins' in mysandwich maker. 1 Medifast oatmeal, I happen to like the maple brown sugar, ends up tasting like french toast! 1/8 tsp baking powder, 2 TBS water (sometimes I need to add a bit more, but a thick'ish batter is what you're looking for!) and into 1/2 of the sandwich maker (2 triangles) Perfect oatmeal on-the-go!..

I like the oatmeal (maple brown sugar). I use a cup of cold water. After I cook it in the MW, I stir in 1 TB. of WF maple syrup. (I really like maple)....

I like the oatmeal and look forward to it in a craving kind of way every morning...

I basically use the ingredients above but keep the liquid to 1/3 cup - microwave the batter for 1 1/2 minutes then take it out and flip it over onto a plate and microwave it for another 30 seconds otherwise the top is really "wet". You can use some SF pancake syrup (I like Walden Farms SF pancake syrup) on top if you want...
