I'm thinking about buying 2 or 3 syrups and the Cherry and German Chocolate Cake sound like winners. Anyone have a few recommendations as to the best flavors and those to be avoided? Input appreciated..

(Don't ask what "SL" means. Meant to type "SF")..

I love the caramel and the toasted marshmallow. I just got the German Chocolate so I don't know if it is good or not. I think all the fruity ones are pretty darn good. Hubby likes the peanut butter and banana but I am not a big fan...

Y'know, the idea of Chocolate Cherry pudding is just killing me! Please let me know how the German Chocolate Cake tastes. Thanks...

Hi CarrieI have tried several of the SF Syrups, and have been pleasantly surprised. I especially like the Caramel, Hazelnut, Amaretto, Kahlua, and Raspberry. I tried the Raspberry on one of the bars as a special treatdelicious! I must add, that I found that little tidbit on the board here. Not sure who posted it, but thanks!!! Made my sad day a brighter one!!! The Pancake Syrup is also pretty good, IMHO. I have also tried some of the Capella Drops www.capellacoffee.com and I like them also. I have tried the Grandma's Apple Pie, Choc Caramel, Choc Peanut butter, and Banana Nut Cream.

Hope this gives you some idea about all the "legal" goodies out there!! Let me know if you try them, and whether or not you like them..

Sadie1 - I ordered and received some of the Capella Drops. I guess I don't know how to use them. I can't ever tell that I put anything in whatever it is I'm putting them into. I saw where 5 drops is recommended for a cup of coffee. So I put 5+ in a shake and I put like 20 in a recipe of muffins that make 5 meals and I can't tell there is any taste from the drops. What am I doing wrong here? Thanks for any help...

So far I have tried Cocconut, Peanut Butter, Vanilla, French Vanilla, Gingerbread, Hazelnut, Chocolate and Cherry. I like the Cherry the best since I am missing fruit and it has very definate Cherry flavor that holds up in baking and blending...

Peanut butter, hazelnut, coconut, Kahlua and creme de menthe here........all are yummy...

They had the Kahlua flavor at our local supermarket today, so I bought some! It's a good one I had it over ice for a "cocktail" with dinner.

I also love the gingerbread flavor and the B-52. I add them to oatmeal, mufins and my morning tea. I have buttered rum too but haven't tried it yet...

I have Kahlua, Chocolate, Butterscotch and Caramel......by far the best is Caramel....I never use the others any more...would like to trade them in for more caramel..

Eggnog and banana have been my favorites so far. I just got another batch of several bottles, though, so I may add...

How many teaspoons do you put in the shakes?..

OK, I tried the German Choc....OMG! It is fabulous! I strongly recomend it!!!.

As for how much do you use......1-2 tbsp per shake. depending on the syrup and how many I paln to use a day. Nutrisystem recomends 4 tbsp maximum a day (although I will admit some days I go over that! Bad me!)..

Thanks Pawp1 I can't wait to get the syrups to spice things up a bit...

Caramel, Hazelnut, Kahlua, Irish Creme, Vanilla, and Butterscotch are my favorites..

I tried the Rootbeer but did not like it.

I also prefer the Davinci Syrups over the Capella Drops, because the capella drops had a weird alcohol after taste to me and did not work well in my recipe's. I always had to add splenda to the capella drops anyway so why not do it all in one shot flavor and splenda with the DaVinci Syrups..

Sams Club sells them cheaper than the website for a full size bottle if you have one around you and have a membership...

Man, am I desperate for the davinci syrups because I am nearly gagging on the shakes. No matter if I add splenda or extracts or make cookies the shakes are YUCK YUCK YUCK...

I loveLoveLOVE the Toasted Marshmellow! I'm not like a marshmellow fan or anything but this stuff is delicious! I've been using it as my straight sweetener in everything, coffeem, oatmeal, cookies, you name it.

I just figured out that DaVinci makes a straight "sweet" flavor. Its called Simply Sweet or something like that. I'd get it but so far I havent found anything that the Toasted Marshmello doesnt taste good with... I'm awaiting my replacement Sweetzfree but with so many other options I'm not using my powdered Splenda unless Im on the road anymore. Those 0.9g carbs were really adding up on me..

I order mine from www.cappuccinoconnection.com they came in a few days...

I find the chocolate, caramel, french vanilla and raspberry da vinci sugar free syrups at TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Home Goods. However, I did want the peanut butter and toasted marshmallow & since those stores never have those flavors, I ordered those online from cappacinoconnection.com. I use A LOT of the chocolate!..

I have tried quite a few of the Davinci syrups and the German Choc. Cake is delicious, my favorite is Caramel...

Ok, I have to put my two cents in. I love the Almond Roca, but I use the German Choc cake, eggnog and Kahlua quite often too. Yesterday I added some Crystal Lite Lemonade powder to my vanilla shake and then decided to add some SF Lime syrup. It ended up tasting exactly like lime sherbert!.

I've also added the coconut, banana, and pineapple to the strawberry and orange shakes and raspberry to the chocolate shakes. I ordered a set of 12 the first week I started MF, and let me tell you, it was probably the best companion investment to the Medifast meals I could have ever made. It has made a world of difference in the variety of the tastes in my meals. I ended up getting the spigot-like tops (off of ebay) for all twelve bottles and put them all in my pantry. My son and daughter came home and opened the pantry door and thought I'd stocked the cupboard with alcohol!!! Anyway, I haven't yet tried all of them but I haven't been disappointed with any of them. I know I'm going to have to replace the German Choc Cake first though! Good luck with your choices!.
