My 2nd question is: Someone at work brought in choc. covered strawberries - which I stayed away from - but it made me think.I wonder if I melted NS choc. - could I dip a banana in the choc then freeze it? Apples slices? hmm...

NS Peanut Butter Cup.

Posted by: breadstick on: 08/05/04.

1 pkg. Nutricrunch Chocolates.

1 tsp. peanut butter.

1/2 tsp. fat free chocolate syrup.

Place chocolates in a small glass dish and microwave for about 1.25 minutes. In my microwave it does not actually melt, it kind of became small crumbs which was excellent. Place in a cup cake tin 1/2 of the melted chocolate, pack it down with the back of a spoon. Place in freezer for 1 minute to cool down. Place 1 tsp. of peanut butter on top of that.

Pack down gently. Put syrup on top and stir it in a little bit, enough that the chocolate covers it. Place in the freezer before your dinner and it will be ready for dessert time!.

Thank you - that sounds YUMMY!!.

I melted my nutrichocolates - rolled a banana in it - sprinkled with a few nonpareils - and placed it on wax paper in the freezer for half hour. (I saved my fruit from the afternoon and subbed fruit for salad at dinner). It was FANTASTIC!..

I melt mine, then add some raisens and let harden - they go further and it's a fruit with a snack. YUM !..

I love to melt mine and dip orange slices in it (fruit saved from dinner). I usually put the chocolates in a mug with a tiny bit of skim milk and FF/SF chocolate syrup, then microwave for 15-20 seconds. Let sit in the micro for about a minute. They will not look melted, but if you take the cup out and stir really well, they are perfect!..

Sure - loads of folks melt them to dip fruit or other things like NS pretzels (that's 2 desserts) or make peanut butter cups.

Be careful when melting in microwave - they don't LOOK melted and burn easily (see my dessert file for the PB cup recipe and some info on how to melt the chocs and some more recipes).

In warm weather, I'll put out a number of packages on my deck in the sun to melt (they arrive melted in many areas in warm weather) - then I smoosh the melted stuff to the center of the unopened pkg, and carefully cut 3 sides of the package (it peels off) to put in nuts, raisins or mold into pb cups....
