I saw the pdf document on the main page under "sucess tools" and that soup is not checked off as vegetarian. I'm betting that the "natural flavors" is where the chicken is hidden...

I guess it would depend on the type of vegetarian you are. I don't think anyone here would be vegan, since many of the products have dairy/egg. I personally am lacto/ovo vegetarian - no meat, chicken or fish. However, with the chicken soup, the last ingredients that you listed are fish and shell fish which would make it non-vegetarian...

It doesn't say it contains shellfish it says "Manufactured in a facility that uses milk, fish and shellfish." Although I suppose that may be an issue for some veggies. But I think Flower is right the "natural flavors" probably does mean chicken...

Sorry, I just saw the fish and shellfish thing and did not read the whole sentence. Oopps!..

Thats okay&..

BTW you're doing awesome and Flower kicked butt. I am glad being veggie doesnt hinder the program I was worried about carbs. But I seem to always be in the right range...

Thanks..

You kind of have to watch the carbs a bit more, but it really is not that hard. I just really try to stay to the lowest carb veggies, since the eggs and Boca burgers etc, have a bit more carbs than other "meat" proteins. I really love tomatoes, could eat them all the time, but I try to not have them very often since they are higher. I never would have thought I would have been on a diet that did not really allow carrots, etc, as a regular snack, but I love Medifast and and so glad I started..

Good luck to you...
