My main question is: Tho I didn't order I got 5 of each... have never tried and think they'll probably need help! Any Suggestions?..

Your question was: If I shoplift from a Vitamin Shoppe what are the chances of me being caught from 1-100?.

I've never had it but I've read that some people add extra tuna (protein)..

They are two of the lower calorie lunches, so if you have it on 2 slices of low cal bread (80 calories instead of 40) it probably wouldn't hurt.

People also recommend keeping them in the fridge as they taste better cold..

Good luck!..

I had it just the other day and had to have the other one and put the extras in it and thought it was very good. Be sure to chill it first tho. I think it is better..

Mmmm I also love the chicken salad. I toast my 35 calorie bread(2 slices=70cals) I scoop out the chicken and add 1 oz slice of canadian bacon (protein) that I crisped in a pan. YUMMY my all time favortie~..

I add Dill Pickel Relish,finely choped Celrey,Onions..

Order it every time...

I add hard boiled egg (my lunch protein) a few chunks of apple and a few walnuts (dinner fat...chopped up) to make a mock Waldorf salad and put it ontop of lettuce!..

I agree the celery and eggs really make the difference. I've had it plain and with the additions. It's a whole lot better and more filling when you add a little something to it. Go for it!..

I love the tuna salad on my lunch salad with extra tuna. No dressing needed usually...

I add 1/4 cup tuna (protein) to the tuna salad and the equivalent amount of canned white meat chicken to the chicken salad. A little celery, then serve in a 1/2 whole wheat pita with lettuce...

Thanks Rose I now know what I am having for lunch YUMMY.

Happy New Year.

Pam..

I just had it for lunch with some red onion, black pepper, and egg on WW bread. SO YUMMY!..

I had the chicken salad for lunch today. I added celery and green onion with a sprinkle of pepper. I put it on a bed of shreadded carrots and had it with melba toast rounds (sort of like a dip). It was great!..

I had the chicken salad for lunch today as well, had it over a lettuce, with a little low fat feta on top (lunch Protein) It was super yummy and super filling! I agree with everyone else to chill them first...

Rose........ I had my waldorff salad yesterday...........Was that good. I will have to order more chicken salad next time. I was so full....Just yummy....Thanks..

I find that simply refrigerating them makes a big difference! However I prefer the tuna over the chicken salad. Very sad that they discontinued the tuna..

When I was new to NS I had ordered both and I hated both. So I returned the remaining ones and got a replacement. Then I got more in my next order. Used everyone's ideas and I survived (and lost weight too). I purposely wouldn't order again BUT if I were to get them as a sub I would take everyone's ideas (celery, egg, add more tuna or chicken) I and would eat them. Our tastes keep changing throughout weightloss. DOn't know if it's hormonal or we just get used of the taste of the food...

This is so true! I find myself really liking some of the foods I didn't care much for at first, and a few of my favorites are no longer favorites. Perhaps I just overdosed on them and got tired of them. But you are so right about changing opinions on some of the foods...

Love the tuna and chicken and how that I realize I can add some extra thats even better.

If I wan the bread what does that count for I don't have 100lbs to lose..

We can have tuna for a protein, so I just make my own tuna salad with chopped onion, celery, a dab of picle relish, and FF mayo or plain yogurt, or FF ranch dressing-whatever I have on hand. If I make my own, then I can have a NS lunch entree with it!..

I had the chicken salad for the first time today and I thought it was great! I didn't chill it first, but I'll try that next time.

I just made a big salad (spring mix, broccoli, peppers, green onions, broccoli slaw) and scooped the chicken salad on top. I spritzed a little FF Italian Dressing on the whole thing, just for a little more flavor. Yummy!.

I saved my lunch protein for my snack..

I just got my new order and I wish I had ordered more of the chicken salad!..

Hmmm...I enjoy the NS chicken/tuna salad, but also make my own with ff mayo, celery, onion and either boiled/roasted chicken or canned tuna. I make "melts" out of the salads using millet and flax lavash, the salad, cheddar/jalapeno veggie cheese, lettuce and tomato. Had one for lunch today (NS chix salad), and was quite full for 213 calories..

I think the key to good NS tuna/chix salad is to make sure you chill it!..

I add onion, celery and a hard boiled egg (Lunch protein) to it, chill it for about an hour then make it into a sandwich with WW bread or eat it on a big salad, it's one of my favs!..
