Medifast recipe for Ice cream (well sort of)?

First I must say that the main reason I'm on Medifast is because of the Friendlys Peanut Butter Cup Sundae. (I just can't get enough of that PB sauce!!!!) I LUV ice cream!!!!.

Normally I make my shakes with double the amt of water and put them in the blender. I usually drink them on my way to work.

Today I started to fill my blender with water and my water cooler ran out and needed to be changedI was in a hurry and decided to fill the rest with a tray of ice cubes(yes, I still use ice cube trays!) So now I have 1/4 water, about 16 cubes and a pkt of Dutch Choc Shake. I really had to pulse my blender for a good 3 minwhen it was done, to my surprise, a creamy, icy cold, chocolate treat good enough to be called ice cream. I sat right down and ate the whole bowl!!!..

I think you are great! That is my favorite sundae too. I wonder if there is a peanut butter lsugar free syrup to add to that?..

Just wanted to give you another idea if you love ice cream. Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough was my downfall. Here is what I do.

1Packet shake mix with 1 tbls of your favorite SF Davinci flavoring with 8oz water.

Pour 1/2 of the mix into ice cube tray and put remaing 1/2 liquid in refridge.

When it is frozen take the ice cubes and add to (I have a bullett) mixer.

Take 1 packet of chocolate pudding mix and put half the packet into the mixer.

Add 1/2 cup of water and mix away. Add extra water if too thinck.

This tastes just like a milkshake. Then the next day I freeze the other half and do the same thing. This is a nightly ritual for me. You can use either chocolate or banana pudding but the pudding really makes the drink a thick and creamy consistancy..

I am telling you - you will be inlove with this.

I have been on the program for 7months and have lost 88lbs with 12 more to go. This has been my saving grace. Take care and let me know if you like it.

Thanks for the recipe. Fell off the weightloss wagon for close to a week now, but tomorrow is a new day. Where do I get these Davinci syrups that I keep reading about?..

The Davinci Syrups are a must if you ask me. I currently have 31 sugar free flavors on my kitchen counter. I look like a dang espresso coffee shop. But I tell you what it keeps things interesting and with baking muffins and cookies along with the shakes the varities are endless. It has been my salvation.. So let me know how you like them when you get some..

I agree with the Davinci Syrups. I have about 25 of them and will buy them all. I use them in everything but could not take the shakes every day without them. I put them in everything. And I love all the flavors...
