I got a quick question: I heard if you go to a local Vitamin Shoppe you can buy something that frezzes your acne is that tru?.

I also got another question: I'm having trouble finding a fat free dressing that I like. The only types of salad dressing that I can stand the taste of are ranch and bleu cheese, but I haven't found a fat free variety that I like. What are some of the best brands to purchase?.

Thanks!..

What a great idea. I will try that. I like the fat free Honey mustard dressing, it seems to be a little more tasty. Thanks for the great idea. Grannydc..

I find myself getting garlic ranch (not non-fat) and using it as my fat...

I also do not like FF dressing so I buy low fat or lite dressings. They are half the cals of regular dressings...

When I first started NS I added Franks hot sauce to my salad dressing... killed the FF taste and gave it a kick... 5 months later I don't even bother!!!..

I discovered if you use a tablespoon or so of fat free cottage cheese when making your ranch dressing in the blender or I use the "magic bullet" along with the fat free sour cream or a bit of fat free milk, It make a "FABU!" dipping ranch for your cut veggies = )..

I too can't do the fat-free dressings. I do the low-fat or light dressings. I'm not a big dressing person (when I eat out I get it on the side and dip my fork into it then get some salad). I still lost the weight, so at little cheat of not having fat-free dressing could be ok for you?? (you'll have to try it)..

I've found that "Salad Spritzers" from Wishbone work well. Only 1 cal per spray. In 10 sprays there is 1g of fat, no sat fat, 1g of carbs. there is 10fat cal per 10 sprays though..

I've had the red wine & balsamic. Tasty. Just a thought...

The "Just Too Good" line of light dressings from Wishbone are my favorite light ones. They taste just like the real thing to me. I find other light ones yucky too...

I don't like the FF dressings much, in fact I tend not to use any dressing at all but I've found the Kraft 1000 Island dressing (ff) pretty decent..

I second the Salad Spritzers suggestion - very tasty! FF Hidden Valley Ranch is the only FF ranch I can stand, and even then I just kinda tolerate it to get my ranch fix.

Other ways I avoid dressing altogether are using NS meals as "dressing" (ie beef tacos or chili on top of greens) or just do chopped up cucumbers, broccoli, etc. I can eat those without dressing (or maybe a little vinegar)...

I just started NS today and I THOUGHT I had some fat free or lite dressing. Nope. I had I use Red Wine Vinegar. YUCK. I also have trouble finding a FF dressing that I like...

Lisa - I never thought of doing what you do with your home-made dressing. Excellent idea - I'm going to whip up a batch tonight! Thanks for the tip - Steff..

The Walden Farms Fat Free calorie Free Dressings are great! nice range of flavors too! They also make a good fat free calorie free BBQ sauce..

The Walden Farms fat-free, calorie free Balsamic Vinegar is good. I was really surprised at how much I liked it. I don't think it has that chemical taste a lot of the fat free dressings tend to have...

I got fat free ranch today, and I will eat it, but will not buy it again. One way of cutting calories/fat ect., is to buy dressing that you like and pour half in another container and add water to fill both of themother words half dressing half water really it's fine and you get the taste that you want...

I totally use these too. They are really tasty...

Total newb, but what the heck - I have some advice to give. lol..

I like the Cains FF Ceasar. It is not the creamy ceaser. I know- I would rather have ranch or bleu cheese too, but this is really good for FF...

I found Kraft Roasted Red Pepper with Parmesan Dressing. It is not marked as FF but it only has 18 cal/1 g fat/2g carb per tablespoon and I think it taste fabulous..

I just made my own with some balsamic (free) and a teaspoon of dijon mustard. It was great...

I actually really have trouble with fat free dressings also.they tend to be slimy. What I do which is kind of a pain but works, is buy the ranch powder mixes and make my own with fat free sour cream and milk. Much better tasting and you can add stuff to it. The other day I added garlic and chipotle peppers to it and it was so yummy. Hope that helps..
