Question I have... How long is Phase 1 in the Medifast Diet? Looking forward for any answer or 2. Second question of mine... Where do you ladies find good bras that don't accentuate the "back flab"? Now that I'm down in size in the bust area, the only bras I've seen in my size come with skinnier hook straps, which don't do anything to help alleviate that nasty looking flab on my back..

I'm only about halfway to goal, so I'm not sure I'm ready to fork over $50 for a bra. But I guess if it will make me feel better about myself I'll do it..

Any suggestions?..

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I bump into an good answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably can answer it..

I know where you come from. I am busty but I gotta do what I gotta do. I go to intimacy and they are awesome! Hold you up, suck them in, no spillage, BAM!! ;-P.

If it's beyond your budget, lane bryant have some good bras!..

Well, I don't think I need "sucking in" - I'm in a 38 B right now, LOL! I'm starting to worry that they are going to disappear altogether, hehe....

I'll check out those sites, ladies. Thank you!.

Bobbie, does the racer back bra have underwire? I definitely need underwire for these things, LOL! (46 years old and all, you know...)..

Mine are already going away! lol When I gain weight the LAST place to get bigger is my chest and it's the first place to go, I had to weigh over 200 pounds to say I was a B cup now I am going down and am sure I will plop myself back in an A..

Oh well push up and padding was made for me!..

Soma also has a bra they call the vanishing edge bra that has a nice wide back. I feel your pain...

I would really recommend going and getting fitted. It may be that wearing an improperly sized bra or the wrong style is causing that. Both VS and Nordstroms have been good for guiding me to bras that fit my size and shape. You don't necessarily have to buy from them, just find what will work best, and then go from there. After my recent fitting, I found that I shouldn't wear the biofits and other more full coverage bras that I wore before, and instead a biofit demi was much more flattering. I also thought I was a 38B after being a 40C, and I am apparently now a 38D..

And if you go anywhere near Orlando, there's a VS Outlet there haha. $9 bras when I direly needed them was awesome! Sadly, the premium outlets in MN and WA don't have one..

Oh, I am definitely a demi now, Aerielle. It's like they have deflated at the top, LOL! I have a hard time finding something that doesn't have loose fabric in the cup but still goes around me..

No Nordstrom near me, but I could make the hour+ drive to one when I hit goal. I've done the VS before, but I still didn't feel the fit was exactly right, even after they fitted me. Of course, that was before I lost weight. It might be different now...

This is actually the one I was talking about- it's not really racerback- more like sports bra back- although they have another one now!.

Try the link.

I love the vanishing edge panties too- NO PANTY LINE!!!..

Lol that is exactly what happened to mine too! And it was amazing what a difference in style made for how it fit. I had that same loose fabric pooching at the top, and switching styles made that go away...

I love love love Fredericks of Hollywood bras. (I loathe VS with an abiding passion.) At my heaviest, and after augmentation, I was able to find very pretty bras that fit well at FoH. And they weren't too expensive when I managed to get them on sale. I went to a store and got fitted and wow...the girls looked great. I'm looking forward to re-fitting and new bras when I reach goal...

OK- you can actually "fit" yourself- Take a tae measure and measure your band size and then measure your actual chest size. for every 2 inches larger is 1 cup size. SO if your band is 32inches and your chest is 36inches you would be a 32 B- that is why 2 people that look like they have the same size breast can be different sizes- it starts with your BAND- the bigger the band the smaller the cup- smaller the band the larger the cup. I hope that makes sense. It is ALWAYS a good idea to be professionally fitted but this is just in case you can't...

Tabgar - I just got Playtex 18 hour - comfort gel staps 40B - no underwire and it holds mine up nicely and are comfortable. I'm 54 and have major sagging! Went from wearing 46C Playtex Secrets Underwire. Found them at Kohl's on sale but most places carry the Playtex brand and are reasonably priced...

Thanks for this explanation - I was really wondering about this relationship between the band and the cup size!..
