Is Hoodia Gordonii Plus Worth the Money?
Hoodia Gordonii is a supplement many of us have heard of - it has recieved a ton of press in mainstream shows such as 60 Minutes, and Oprah Winphrey's Show. All this attention doesn't concern me. The real question is: Does Hoodia Gordonii work? Should you spend your hard-earned cash buying a bottle or 2?
Before, I give my review, here are some basic facts about Hoodia Gordonii:
- Hoodia comes from a plant that is found in Africa. That is where is imported from.
- Hoodia has risen in popularity in the past 3-4 years. Back in the 90's, noone even heard of Hoodia Gordonii. Its popularity came about from a segment in 60 Minutes. It has also been featured in Oprah's show, which really boosted its popularity. If you've watched the news, you've probably heard of Hoodia Gordonii.
- There isn't just 1 type of Hoodia. In fact there are more than a dozen types. That is why you see so many brands out there such as Desert Burn, and Hoodi Thin (liquid extract)
- Some drug companies are working hard to try to license Hoodia after they discovered p57, a substance that has potential to have a dramatic effect in weight loss.
- Hoodia is not found in many health stores. Most people usually obtain it online.
Why do I give Hoodia Gordonii an A+?
