My question is Have you lost weight on the Medifast diet? Hoping for any answer or 2. My 2nd question... Hi I am new to medifast and I am in my first week Yeah so far so good ..

Except not sure how to get ticker to work LOLMy immediate goal is to lose 100 lbsThen we will seeAny words of advice our sure appreciated..

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I bump into an useful answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could help you..

Welcome! There's a thread in the Medifast Connection Forum called something like "Things I wish I knew when starting Medifast" - you might find some of the tips in there helpful..

My bit of advice - if you don't already have one get a little personal blender. A cheapy little Hamilton Beach is okay, or you can splurge on a Ninja or HealthMate. (Making the Medifast soft serve was a bit challenging in the Hamilton Beach, so I got the Ninja.) I found the shakes to be so much better blended with ice, especially in the summer months. You can also use the blender and ice to make shakes/soft serve from Medifast puddings. I always liked those!.

The boards have been a great resource for me. Best of luck on the program - you can do it!..

Today is my first day. I ordered my food on Monday and I have been spending at least two hours a day on these message boards pouring over all the great information everyday since..

I have been beyond excited leading up to today but now I feel nervous. I am just worried about the hunger feelings that I may experience these first few days..

Welcome to the newcomers!.

This is an amazing community, but I think I should warn you that from time to time drama wars flare up between people who have different approaches to MF. When this happens, don't let it scare you off!.

Remember that you don't have to take every post to heart. Use what works for you and leave behind the rest. Most of the people here are truly wonderful, caring people who want to see others succeed, no matter which they go at it..

Welcome Trina. As far as I am concerned, you have taken the best step to ensure your success - visiting the forum. I'm doing well after 3 weeks, and I still spend 1-2 hours a day browsing the forum..

Before MF, I would unwind after work by stuffing myself with all the wrong foods for my weight and health. Now I unwind by absorbing the inspiration I gain here. By the time I prepare my evening L&G meal, I am totally about staying on program.

Jedi Carolyn is right on: not everything you read here will apply to you, but the people are passionate about Medifast and wish you only the best. You are beginning a marvelous journey; I look forward to sharing it with you...

Welcome zombiemom. It took me three weeks to get the ticker figured out. Here is what I learned:.

1. Go to your MyPage.

2. Click on Edit MyPage.

3. Go to your ticker and click on "Change your displayed ticker.".

4. Copy the URL for posting on the Community Forum and paste it onto a document you save somewhere. I have a Medifast file that contains all of my 'stuff' including a word document for my current ticker..

5. Go to Community Forum.

6. Click on Edit Profile/Settings.

7. Under Control Panel, click on Edit Signature.

8. Paste your saved URL into the signature space.

9. Click on 'Preview' at bottom of the signature space to check it.

10. Click on 'Save' at bottom of signature space.

Now your current ticker will appear on all of your Community Forum posts. Most people update them weekly, but update yours as often as you wish, then each time you change it go through the steps above..

I figured this out by trial and error, so if there is an easier way, anyone please pipe in..

Welcome to Medifast and to this forum newbies. I am just starting week 5 and I too read this board at least 2 hours a day. This is my support as very very few people know I'm on MF. This is a wonderful plan and I'm very happy with how it is working for me. Best luck and have a great week...
