Today, Saturday, I had my L & G for lunch. Thursday night I put a package of frozen chicken breasts in the crockpot with 4 cups of chicken broth and 1 tbsp of Chipolte-Lime Mrs. Dash and yesterday I shredded the chicken and divided it into 7 ounce portions (i figured with some of the broth for the extra ounce) I froze 5 portions and saved one for today..
I did the chicken with some stirfry veggies and 1 tbsp of the Philadelphia Cooking Cream (NS approved in another's recent post) It was a yummie chicken-veggie stew!.
I've still got 5 chicken "meal-starters" in the freezer for the hectic week ahead. Tomrrow going to keep it simple and go with MSF Grillers and some fresh roasted asparagus! ((HUGS))..
Change of plans... I am making the Crock Pot Chicken Taco Soup from the recipe threads (Sandy's I believe). It will be nice to have something warm and ready PLUS be able to freeze the other half for a convenient L&G later some night when I am frazzled!..
