OK, let me preface this by saying... I AM A PLANNER!! I like to plan ahead and be all ready to go! My husband and I are starting Medifast on the 5th of December so I want to have all the menus planned and shopping done by December 4th! For me, this will help us to be successful!.

I need recipes that I can feed to my CHILDREN as well as myself and my husband! I would also love recipes that I could prep ahead of time and freeze (for when I am working and the hubby needs to put something in the oven). My kids will eat most meats and veggies..

So... recipes that serve FOUR please!! My kids are 8, 9, and 12 and perfectly healthy with no weight issues (i am so thankful..

Your question was: Good Medifast recipes for entire family?.

Hi sooper. I have three kids - ages 8, 8 (step daughter) and 19 months. That being said some of my favorite ALL together family meals are:.

Tacos - I use 93 % lean Ground Turkey (I use 5 oz worth for me) and I use Romaine Lettuce leaves for the taco "shell".

Shrimp or Chicken Stir Fry - I measure my portion out seperately and use the Low Sodium Teryiaki sauce.

Shrimp Alfredo - which everyone inhales - shrimp pan fried in pan; remove; take zucchini ribbons (made with veggie peeler) cook in 1/2 cup of Sodium free chicken broth and 2-3 wedges of lauging cow cheese to make cheese sauce..

We eat grilled chicken A LOT in my house. I usually make rice or mashed for the family and extra veggies for me, such as broccoli, aspargus, green beans, etc..

And on nights when I make things I can't have, I usually just have egg beater veggie omelet or grilled shrimp and a veggie..

Good luck to YOu!..

Sooper, I'm a planner, too. I have a 9 y/o son, an 18 y/o daughter, and a 49 y/o husband who's even pickier about vegetables than our son is. I love to cook, but I'm lazy... I refuse to cook two separate meals, much less the four separate ones they'd demand if I didn't insist they eat whatever I cook..

I came up with a 7-day L&G menu that's satisfying all of us right now. It's on my Medifast Blog here.

Hope that helps!..

Angela, thanks for the great ideas!.

Kate, I will go look at your blog right now!..

I just took a look at your menu and it looks super yum! I might just need to steal some of them from you..

Wow that menu looks good, I think we will try a lot of them.

(Oh I am Soopermommy's oldest child (Husband) Robb).

I agree Robb! As long as you are comfortable cooking them...

Well, I have been looking around and plan on trying the cauliflower pizza crusts and stuffed mushrooms. I will also try the shitake noodles if I can find them... maybe a crustless quiche using eggbeaters..

I think some casseroles would be would be great... any ideas?..
