Hi everyone, quick 1st question: Does a Vitamin Shoppe sell drugs?.

My 2nd question is: Question....

I just ate lunch (the pasta w beef for those wondering) and I feel full. do I have to force a salad in as well? Or should I just stop eating because I am full? I dont really feel the need to eat anymore right now...

Pam's right...I wasn't this way at first (full right away) but now, it's a chore to eat everything. I typically don't have an appetite or get hunger pangs (that's a good thing, bt the way). You HAVE to do it...get creative...she's given you some good ideas.

What I'd do is just wait a little and then eat your salad. I ate my lunch at 12:15 and am just now finishing my salad. Spread it out if you need to...

You have to eat it all... but it doesn't have to be at one sitting! Spread it out throughout the day. I normally have my breakfast fruit around 10:30 - 11pm. My lunch is done around 12:30pm, the salad around 1:30pm (unless I can combine the two), the fruit around 2pm. My snack isn't normally until closer to 5 or 7pm (depending on when I get home) and dinner is spreadout from around 8:30 until 11:00pm, again depending on when I get home. I get all of it in, but at various times that way I never get sick to my stomach because it's overloaded...

Try having a low sodium V-8 about an hour or so either before or after lunch. I helps tide you over until the next meal without filling you up...

Ginger, how did you lose the first 30pounds or how long did it take. I can't see myslelf losing on this diet, it's too hard for me..

I'm not Ginger , but I lost about 30 lbs in 4 months. That included over three weeks without losing.

I followed the plan 100%, no cheating. Tried to drink all the water and did some exercise.

What is hard for you? Maybe we can help...

To be honest, I'm not sure exactly when I hit the 30lb mark. I started the program the first part of May and the picture of my horse was taken after his dentist appointment which was Oct 13th.

The program has been super easy for me for the most part, but I'm not an overeater, but an under-eater... so I simply have to force myself to eat everything on the program...which is why I adore NS. If I have to think about my food too much, I simply won't eat. Heck some nights I battle with myself to simply throw something in the microwave for less than 2 minutes..

It is your brain/emotions telling you that you are dieting and you are "full" with minimal food. DON'T listen to this bad advice from yourself!!! You NEED, NEED, NEED to eat ALL of the food...it is only 1200 - 1500 calories a day and the minimum you need for good health and wellness.

PLEASE listen to me on this, it is a serious problem with a lot of well-meaning dieters and only gets you more and more into the dieting yo-yo. Your body will go into starvation mode and hold on to each and every calorie for fear you are starving it to death...AND, you will get hungry at some point and blame the diet for making you tired, frustrated, not losing, etc.

The way this plan works is to eat ALL of your food, drink ALL of your water (and then some), and move your tush with at least a bit of exercise (i.e. walking).

If you are "full" and don't want bulk, then have 3 prunes instead of a whole apple for your fruit. Have one stick of string cheese instead of 8 oz. of yogurt. Have a glass of low-sodium V-8 juice instead of 2 veggie servings. Have 1/2 cup of low-sodium V-8 juice instead of a salad. Spread your meals out and eat a little every hour or so (not everything at once). But, whatever you do...EAT!!!..
