Got a question, hope someone can answer... COMPARE JENNY CRAIG TO Medifast? Many thanks for any response. My other question... I am just wondering if anyone has had any experience with getting a refund on an item..

I purchased the blender through this website, and it does not chop ice at all, so I want to return it. The return policy clearly states it can be returned for a full refund within 30 days..

I called customer service and they told me I would have to contact the manufacturer to get a refund. That makes no sense since the manufacturer didn't get my money..

I was given a phone number and that was it. When I asked how that could work, she said call and ask them..

Seems odd to me...

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I discover an good answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could assist you..

Yes I just left a message there too. I really don't understand how Medifast can make the statement that you get a full refund within 30 days but then not back that up..

I am really disappointed in the handling of this...

You are not being treated right! If your paperwork says Medifast returns then they should return. Medifast is taking the easy way out! Seems they dont want to do the work...

Well, I received a call back from the manufacturer. She said that they cover the warranty for a year, but since they didn't get paid, they can't refund me. No kidding. I tried telling the representative that when I called Medifast. The manufacturer also stated that she has received many calls of this same nature..

I called Medifast back and got a different representative, who apologized for the misinformation and gave me the proper return process..

So anyone out there who encounters this not let it go. It appears not all Medifast customer service employees understand the difference between a refund and a warranty..

4 phone calls later, I am satisfied...

Hey, at least it only took 4 phone calls....just saying'.

I would have bet on many more and I would have probably ended up with a broken blender with no refund..

Hmmmm....I haven't started yet, and came here to see what folks' experience has been like. This kind of gives a bad impression. Are they this way with everything? And, is the blender a complete rip-off, and if medifast is generally OK, is there a decent mini-blender you all recommend? I have an awesome full-size one, but would think it'd be better to get a mini for the tiny quantities. Thx...

In case you were still in need of a good blender, I totally recommend the Ninja blender. Google it to find the best deal but I know amazon has it. I have a magic bullet that just wasn't crushing the ice enough and I bought my ninja for a killer deal on SO happy I did! It rocks!..
