Capella flavor drops vs. sugar-free syrups like DaVinci, Torani, etc. Has anyone tried both? Do you have a preference? Which is better? Favorite flavors? Never-buy-again flavors? Before I order online, I'd like some input. Thanks!.

I'm especially thinking of winter/holiday flavors like gingerbread, pumpkin pie, eggnog, and toasted marshmallow..

Thanks, everyone!..

Your question was: Capella Drops vs. Sugar free syrups for Medifast?.

I've only used the syrups, and my favorite is Davinci's Pancake syrup. It's slightly thicker than the other syrups, and it's great in oatmeal! I've also tried Blueberry (was okay), English Toffee (yummy in shakes, hot cocoa, etc.), Chocolate (I like plain cocoa powder better), and Pumpkin Pie. Pumpkin Pie was the only one I had to pour out, which I was sooooo disappointed about since I was looking forward to it. I've heard good things about Gingerbread, so I hope other people respond to your post about the flavors they like...and the ones they didn't...

I've used both the Capella drops and DaVinci syrup. My vote is definitley with the syrup. I was disappointed with the Capella drops. IMO they have a weird taste. My favorite syrup is Peppermint Paddy mixed with the Dutch Chocolate shake or Chocolate pudding. YUM! Like rammrose, I too was disappointed with the Pumpkin Pie...

I have tried the Capella drops, Torani SF syrups and Da Vinci SF dyrups..

DA VINCI ROCKS!.

I order the Caramel & Coconut (use in my Skinny Lattes from Starbucks instead of their syrups, or in any of the Medifast hot drinks or shakes) and Egg Nog (GREAT for Vanilla shakes). Gonna hafta try the Gingerbread. Sounds YUM!!.

IMHO the only good thing about Capella is that you can dump the contents and fill with Da Vinci SF syrup if you are traveling. I fly a lot and this has helped to keep me OP during my entire time on 5 & 1..

Thanks for cluing me in on the pumpkin pie flavor. Guess I'll stick with gingerbread. Eggnog and peppermint patty sound good, too. I appreciate the advice!..

Where do you get these flavors ? Can you find them at a store? would like to know thanks lillybug..

You can go to torani.com and davincigourmet.com for the different syrups. Also the drops are at capella.com..

I've tried capella drops....None have satisfied for flavor.

Good luck!..

I prefer the syrups. The drops were a waste of money to me. I hardly ever use them. I bought some of my syrups at TJ Maxx & Marshalls...

I have tried DaVinci, Torani and Walden Farm Syrups and really enjoyed them. They were easy for me to get too as I can pick some of them up at the grocery, Wal-mart, etc. I have been pleased with all of them. But the Capella drops sound so good too although I have heard not too much flavor there...

Thanks to all ...this really helps me..love lilly bug..

I think both are good but have different uses. I love the Capella drops in shakes, shake cakes, oatmeal (taste isn't as strong), cool whip, cream cheese, spreads, maybe not even diet foods in the future, and coffee. Syrups are good in oatmeal (use less water), coffee, it makes shake cakes a weird texture, and I feel like it would give shakes a funny aftertaste. I'd use the syrups more in something i'm gonna bake, as opposed to a liquid meal...
