Before I ask my question, I want to ask: Canyou buy the a day after pill over the counter @any Vitamin Shoppe????.

My main question is: I had the veg. fajita for lunch today, followed the direction on the package to the T, it had a good flavor, but something in it was very chewy, not the right consistence. Maybe my water wasn't hot enough when I mixed it in, before microwaving, but I don't know if I would order this item It reminded me of eatinga chicken taco, soft shell,accept but like I said, something in it wasn't the right texture. Did anyone else find this happen to them, if not what did I do wrong?.

It is much better cooked on the stove. I sautee onions & bell pepper to add to it, then I layer it in a small casserole dish with carb controlled flour tortillas (2) & f/f cheese to make a mexican lasagna & bake in the oven. It makes 2 meals, very filling & very good...

This is one of my favs, especially when I'm REALLY hungry. I always cook it the longest time recommended and put it in a lavash with a smidgeon of ff cheese, some chopped lettuce. I roll it up and top it with a dollop of ff sour cream and a heaping TBSP of salsa! I order at least 6 of these each time...

Well all as I can say is my stomach does not agree with this at all. Several hrs later and I am suffering with this item. I believe it is the cause of a lot of gas and etc. It is a heck of a way to lose weight. Good thing I didn't eat this while I was at work! I will not be order it or eat it again.

Glad you like it but some foods just don't work for some of us! This is one that I can't eat again not because of the taste, but the after effects are not pleasant!..

The veggie fajita was my very first dinner entree. I cooked it on the stove and added some veggies to it but I could not eat it. I litterally gagged each time I got one of those chewy chunks! I ended up giving it to my dog. I got 2 with my order so at some point I am going to give it another go, but it was so bad it almost made me want to quit on day one! I'll try letting it soak a little longer. Maybe next time it will redeem itself? I sure hope so!..

This item really fills me up, but sometimes I do have a little stomach discomfort. I wrap it up in a lowfat whole wheat tortilla with fat free sour cream and a little salsa, and it's pretty good. And, as I said, it really fills me up!..

I just had the veggie fajita for dinner. I moved some things around for this meal but it still might have been a little much..

The veggie fajita cooked in the microwave and added a few pieces of grilled chicken wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla..

Then I cooked one cup of whole wheat rice and added diced tomatoes and onions with some pepper and garlic seasoning..

I had half of the veggie fajita and a half cup of the rice. I thought it was pretty tasty and plan on having the rest tomorrow. I washed that down with some apple juice and water...

Lol! I too find the soy chunks to be both unpleasant to the taste as well as the digestive gases. I have just given up on this entre! Too many others that taste better and don't give the digestive problems. imo..

I'm new and haven't tried this yet. I'm not sure I want to, but atleast there are some good suggestions here. I'm also glad to hear that the chunks are soy! Maybe I'll try it today and get it over with...

Sounds like you really made it pretty tasty However after my bout last night I will not ever try it again. If I get any in my next order with the free 7 day meals, I will gladly trade someone for something that is easier on my digestive system..

But for those of you who can tolerate this dish, more power too ya.

The only thing good that came out of this was I feel alot lighter this morning..

I let the hot water sit in there a lot longer then it says, maybe twice the amount of time, then nuke it if it's not hot enough, sometimes it's still alittle chewy, but better then if you only let it sit the recommended amount of time..

Good luck, this isn't 1 of my favs..
