I have only been on the plan for 5 days now. I'm finding that I get hungry between breakfast and lunch but, on my plan, I can't have the fruit. However; I'm also finding that I don't get hungry between lunch and dinner and really don't need that afternoon snack. Can I switch and have the snack between breakfast and lunch and forgo the snack in the afternoon?..

Your question was: Can I skip the snack in the afternoon during Nutrisystem?.

Are you making sure and eating the fruit serving that you get with your breakfast? Maybe I'm not understanding, but it sounds like you're not eating a fruit with breakfast at all...

I do have fruit with breakfast but, with the 40-60 plan, I don't get the morning fruit snack. I'm glad to know that I can move things around to suit my personal needs. Thank you...

Oh, okay. I was hoping you weren't leaving anything important out...

I'm 49 ,and I have a mid morning snack on the silver program...

Yes, you can move the food around anyway that makes sense for you. Spread your food out and eat something every few hours. The only thing to watch is to make sure you have your fruit and a Dairy/Protein at the same time if you are sensitive to the natural sugars (carbs) from the fruit alone. That can cause shakiness and hunger in some of us...

I don't understand. Why can't you have the fruit? It's important to eat everything in your meal planner..

I usually eat my dairy/protein and fruit servings first and eat my Nutrisystem breakfast midmorning so I have 2 breakfasts...

I am in the 40-60 yr old range, and there is no morning snack..

You can eat your breakfast in two parts if you have a hard time making it to lunch. Sometimes if I eat an early breakfast, I'll just have the Nutrisystem item with my coffee, and I'll save my yogurt and fruit for mid-morning...

I always eat my breakfast in two parts. I usually eat the Nutrisystem breakfast when I get home from the gym and then the fruit/protein between 10:30 and 11. Try to spread your food out and eat every 2 to three hours. It will make a huge difference...

I also divide my breakfast into two separate meals.

But to your specific question, yes, you can have your afternoon snack in the morning if it works better for you...

Same here, I'm up very early and found that I was hungry in between those two meals so like the others I split it up and have my Nutrisystem breakfast with coffee and then the dairy/protein & fruit later on. If I'm having cereal for breakfast, I may even use 1/4 blueberries with my Nutrisystem cereal and then the other 1/2 cup for the 2nd part of breakfast...
