Okay this is no big news....But since we can have sf, ff pudding as a snack, 1-2 TBSP per day, I added butterscotch flavor to my vanilla shake, which I hate. I loved it. Blended it up with ice and it turned into this really thick butterscotchy ice cream. Yummie...

How much water? How much ice? I did this once with the a pudding, but I couldn't taste the pudding...

I used 8 oz. of water and about a cup of crushed ice. I could see it getting thicker in the blender and turning into this frothy delish butterscotch shake/ice cream. I also bought the sf ff cheesecake pudding and am going to put it in the strawberry shake next...

We can have sugar free, fat free pudding? I thought we could only have the sugar free jello?..

Below is a post from the Ask the Nutritionist forum...We can add 1-2 TBSP of the powder to our shakes per day if we count it as a snack. Enjoy!!!.

Snack Options.

The following are a list of snacks you can have on the program, but make sure to limit to one a day:.

1 cup of Sugar-free Jell-O.

2 dill pickle spears.

3 celery stalks.

1 sugar-free Popsicle.

1 cup bouillon.

1 Packet of Medifast Soy Crisps.

Packet of Medifast Crackers.

1 Medifast Fast Soup.

1 ounce of nuts, unsalted, dry roasted.

* If someone was to add 1-2 tbsp of sugar-free, fat-free pudding to the shakes, this is also considered your one snack for the day. If you are have 1 tbsp of peanut butter this would be your one snack a day.

Free Food.

You can have up to 5 medium olives a day as a free food..

Oooh! I forgot about that! I may have to start adding snacks in!! This one may be worth it! Thanks to Bettina, our resident Medigenious!!..

Hi Lydiaa...Well, the resident MediGenius (although I think YOU deserve that one for that MACNCHEESE heaven you made up) is off to make a shake with the cheesecake pudding mix. Yippieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. So happy because I am TRYING to get two shakes a day in and it's my least favorite Medifast meal...

Yummy yum! Thanks Bet..

I can't wait to try!..

I must have used too much pudding mix! I put 1.5 TBS in a vanilla shake last night, whipped it up in my bullet, and ended up eating a rich, thick pudding! It was delish, but I couldn't have sucked it through a straw!! I instantly thought, OH YEAH, ANY flavor pudding I want now!!!!!..

Tammy I used ice and it turned into just about the thickness of ice cream. I didn't suck through straw either, used a spoon. I just did it with the cheesecake pudding and strawberry shake and it was delish too. Next experiment is chocolate pudding in chocolate shake...

Yum, I too was thinking we could only have the jello! This is gonna open up a whole new world, haha!..

I have pistachio waiting in the pantry for my new shipment of vanilla shakes!..

Bettina, you just may have cured me from "I Can't Stand Shakes Syndrome".

I was on Medifast about 15 years ago when it was shakes only (6 a day) and there was no such thing as lean & green. Needless to say, this time around I can't do shakes. But the sf pudding aspect of turning a shake into a meal to eat with a spoon sheds a whole new light on the subject..

Thank Bettina and Lydiaa for your creativity and caring..

P.S. FYI: I lost 90 lbs. 15 years ago on MF. But things were so different then. You could only buy the product through a doctor and there was no transition or maintenance. You were cut loose after reaching goal (or quitting before goal) and left to fend for yourself with no support. Rejoice, everyone, for the passage of time! Medifast got better!..

Ohhhhh I will do ANYTHING to the shakes to make them better. You name it, I've tried it. Extracts, syrups, really fast gulping to get it down, etc. But I do like the pudding trick because it helps make the texture better. Wow. I don't know if I could have done what you did Buckeye, 6 shakes a day. I am so glad I came to Medifast now with the variety and the people here...

I just have to tell you all. This addition to the Vanilla shake has saved me. I add like 1 tsp of butterscotch and then put in the freezer for like 30 minutes.

It is AWESOME. Have tried Strawberry Cheesecake as well. Not as good..

Thanks for the thread...

Glad you are happy. I am too. Not really big on the shakes. Going to try this with chocolate next time. And someone mentioned pistachio??? Yummmmmmm....
