Hello, I saw in the meatless options it allows for cheese. It says 60 oz or 1 1/2 cups of shredded. That seems like alot. Is that correct? I bought fat free cheese. Also are olives counted as a fat and a condinment or just a fat? Thanks..

Hi I go for the low-fat cheese options because I have noticed that FF versions tend to be higher in carbs. I may even have up to an ounce of regular cheese if my plan that day has the "room" for it. Sorry I can't help you with the amount; whatever I have I just subtract from my L for the day...

Hi I tried to find lo fat cheese but all the cheese had more fat then we were allowed. Are there any brands you can recommend? I looked for the 2% cheese but I thought the fat was to high. I'm pretty new to this so I don't want to mess up. Thanks..

I use Frigo Light Mozarella String Cheese:.

Here are the Nutrition Facts:.

Serving Size: 1 string cheese (28g).

Amount per Serving.

Calories 60Calories from Fat 25.

% Daily Value * Total Fat 2.5g 4% Saturated Fat 1.5g 8% Trans Fat 0gCholesterol 10mg 3%Sodium 200mg 8%Total Carbohydrate 1g 0% Dietary Fiber 0g 0% Sugars 0gProtein 8g 16% Vitamin A 6%Vitamin C 0%Calcium 20%Iron 0%.

These would fall between the Lean and Leaner category as the fat content falls between the 6 oz needed with a maximum 1.5 grams of fat in the Leaner category and the 4 oz needed with minumum 3 grams fat in the Lean category......so I just let it fall in the middle and calculate the serving as 5 oz..

I find them in my local grocery store hanging on the shelf in the refrigerated section. They come individually wrapped in 1 oz "sticks", 12 sticks per package..

I love them!.

Hope this helps..

I buy the vegan rice cheese- it has a good carb/protein ratio, no fat, low calories, no cholesterol, and tastes like dairy cheese. OMG, I'm so hungry now! I love cheese..

Thanks for all the anwers. I cannot eat the morning star food. It is so crazy because it looks so much like meat , I can't get myself to eat it. So I hope it's ok that I continue to eat cheese...

Thanks to all of y ou. I love the laughing cow cheese and thought I couldn't have it. It doesn't melt but tastes great in an omellete or salad instead of chicken. Need diversity...
